The Bendle Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Goodrich Martians at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bendle is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
On Friday, Bendle got the win against Everest Collegiate by a conclusive 8-2. Considering the Tigers have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaden Mattis and Brayden Wollard were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Mattis struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Wollard pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. At bat, Mattis went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Wollard went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Mattis has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 17 times he's played.
