Basketball Recap: Vacaville Christian Piles Up the Points Against Capital College & Career Academy

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Vacaville Christian on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Capital College & Career Academy Ants out of the water with a 72-0 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Falcons had established a 60-point advantage.

Vacaville Christian found their leader in sophomore Elena Vizcay, who posted 29 points. Another player making a difference was Danielle Ruff, who earned 12 points.

The win got Vacaville Christian back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Vacaville Christian will face off against Delta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Capital College & Career Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Prep at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
