Football Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Highland Park can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 62-13 loss at the hands of the Mahtomedi Zephyrs. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Scots couldn't push the score so high this time.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mahtomedi, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Highland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mahtomedi, they will take on Cretin-Derham Hall on Friday.
