Basketball Game Preview: Columbia County Christian vs. Belleville Mennonite Thunder

Columbia County Christian will face off against the Belleville Mennonite Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia County Christian's defense has only allowed 22.1 points per game this season, so Belleville Mennonite's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Columbia County Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Centre County Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-4 victory. Columbia County Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ashleigh Boudman, who posted 23 points. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Willa DuMond was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Belleville Mennonite beat Great Commission 35-31 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

Columbia County Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Belleville Mennonite, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
