Softball Recap: Hawkinsville Takes a Loss

Hawkinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 12-3 to the Wheeler County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 two weeks ago.

Camille Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Collier, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Hawkinsville's record now sits at 2-20. As for Wheeler County, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

As of now, neither Hawkinsville nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
