Softball Recap: Dacula's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

After flying high against Central Gwinnett last Thursday, Dacula came back down to earth. The Falcons took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mill Creek Hawks on Tuesday. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tatiana Loera was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three stolen bases. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Dacula moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Mill Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Dacula will square off against North Oconee at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mill Creek, they will take on Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
