Baseball Recap: Paulding County Comes Up Short

Paulding County lost against McEachern last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley Jeffries made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Tucker White was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Paulding County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for McEachern, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Paulding County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McEachern, they will challenge New Manchester at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
