While Chamblee's win against Woodward Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the War Eagles on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Stella Barton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Chamblee now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Woodward Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Chamblee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-1 victory against Arabia Mountain on the 25th. Woodward Academy has also already played their next contest (against Shiloh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
