Volleyball Recap: Centura Wins Going Away Against Ravenna

Centura not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ravenna Bluejays. The Centurions haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Centura never let Ravenna on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 26-24.

Centura found their leader in freshman Belle Taukiuvea, who had two aces and one block. Taukiuvea has been hot, having also posted 18 or more assists the last five times she's played. Kennedy Davis was another key player, getting ten kills.

Centura's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Ravenna, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Centura wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Ord on the 14th. As for Ravenna, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gibbon on the 16th.
