It was a good run, but Tallulah Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles. The shutout was out of character for the Indians seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Tallulah Falls' loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Tallulah Falls will take on West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they will head out to challenge Carmel Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
