Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Takes a Loss

Lincoln Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Moore Haven Terriers, falling 68-44. The Greyhounds were down 48-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moore Haven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tykeem Paseler, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Clifford Love, who had 19 points and six rebounds.

Lincoln Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Moore Haven, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Lincoln Park Academy will challenge Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moore Haven, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-27 victory against Lake Placid on the 10th.
