Football Game Preview: Prattville Lions vs. Hillcrest Patriots + How To Watch

The Prattville Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Hillcrest Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Prattville, who comes in off a win.

Prattville took a 42-point loss the last time they faced off against Hewitt-Trussville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies on Friday, sneaking past 24-21.

Prattville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damien Dickerson and Eric Townsend.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest faced Thompson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Patriots were beaten by the Warriors 56-10. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Prattville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Prattville might still be hurting after the 53-28 loss they got from Hillcrest in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Lions, Bryson Kimbrough (who threw for 204 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 47 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
