Softball Recap: Little Axe Has No Trouble Against Community Christian

After low-scoring totals in their previous five game, Little Axe brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Community Christian Royals on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won seven in a row.

Audrey Maggard (?26) was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Abrey Reid (?28) was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Little Axe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Little Axe's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Community Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
