Soccer Recap: Fresno Takes a Loss

Fresno's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Sanger West Hornets by a score of 3-2.

Fresno's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Sanger West, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresno will square off against McLane at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fresno's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sanger West, they will face off against Sunnyside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunnyside will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Sanger West surely won't give up without a fight.
