Recap: Kennedy vs. Laguna Creek
On Tuesday, the Kennedy Cougars kept a clean sheet against the Laguna Creek Cardinals. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals and snuck past 1-0. Give Kennedy's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Araceli Gonzalez, who's now up to six this season.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Laguna Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-5.
Kennedy will head out on the road to face off against Rocklin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Laguna Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
