Football Recap: Menahga Takes a Loss

Menahga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 42-20 to the New York Mills Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 36-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

Menahga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New York Mills, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Menahga is set to challenge their familiar foe Otter Tail Central co-op [Battle Lake/Henning] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, New York Mills will square off against rival Breckenridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
