Basketball Recap: Mendota Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

It's playoff time, and Mendota had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers by a score of 47-40 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Aztecs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Mendota is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.1 points over those games. As for Central Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

As of now, neither Mendota nor Central Valley Christian have any future games scheduled.
