Otay Ranch extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Mackenzie Daffron. The Otay Ranch Mustangs strolled past the Eastlake Titans with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 59-43 thanks in part to Daffron, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted five or more steals the last six times she's played.

Despite the loss, Eastlake saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Ellorin posted ten points and four steals. That's the most steals Ellorin has posted since back in December of 2024. Ari Ruperto was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Otay Ranch's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

As of now, neither Otay Ranch nor Eastlake have any future games scheduled.
