Basketball Recap: Desert Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Desert had won three straight home games and Kalista Williams did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Desert Scorpions took down the Mammoth Huskies 55-37 thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten boards, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Desert's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Mammoth, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Desert will welcome Rosamond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season. As for Mammoth, they will head out on the road to square off against Trona at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trona has three straight wins, Mammoth has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
