After a string of seven wins, Sioux Center's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS by a score of 9-8. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the NIGHTHAWKS earlier this season, when they won 13-10.

Sioux Center's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Sioux Center didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Sheldon on the 20th. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-4 win against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on the 19th.
