Baseball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Chelsea Hornets.

Gainesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Vaughn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Vaughn also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Chelsea, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Gainesville has already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Roswell on the 3rd. Chelsea has also already played their next matchup (against Briarwood Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
