Baseball Recap: Gardner Comes Up Short

Gardner fell victim to Quabbin Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Gardner's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Quabbin Regional, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Gardner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quabbin Regional, they will face off against Murdock at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.25 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
