Basketball Game Preview: Redondo Union Sea Hawks vs. West Warriors

The Redondo Union Sea Hawks will square off against the West Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Redondo Union, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Redondo Union turned things around against Peninsula on Tuesday. They blew past the Panthers 62-35. Given the Sea Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Panthers are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West ended up a good deal behind Mira Costa on Tuesday and lost 46-32. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Redondo Union's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.

Redondo Union beat West 64-55 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will Redondo Union repeat their success, or does West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
