Basketball Game Preview: Rain Red Raiders vs. Harrison Central Red Rebels + How To Watch

The Rain Red Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Harrison Central Red Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Rain ended up a good deal behind Mary G. Montgomery and lost 49-35. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harrison Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Moss Point on Saturday as they made off with a 49-26 victory. The Red Rebels not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since November 30, 2024 (when they won 74-31).

Harrison Central's win came from a few key players Rain will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jonathan Espinoza, who shot 71% from the field en route to 16 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Bonner, who posted seven points.

Rain now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Harrison Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
