Basketball Game Preview: Spring-Ford Rams vs. Perkiomen Valley Vikings

Spring-Ford is 0-10 against Perkiomen Valley since March of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Saturday, Spring-Ford got the win against Upper Merion Area by a conclusive 55-33. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Perkiomen Valley rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed past the Warriors to the tune of 63-34. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Warriors are ranked 88th).

Perkiomen Valley's win came from a few key players that Spring-Ford will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kate NEMIC, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah EVANS, who had 15 points.

Perkiomen Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Spring-Ford, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.

Spring-Ford came up short against Perkiomen Valley in their previous meeting back in January, falling 41-35. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
