The Patriots fell just short of the Wahoo Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Yutan-Mead fell to 6-1. As for Wahoo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Yutan-Mead will face off against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Monarchs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Wahoo, they have already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Auburn on the 30th.
