Soccer Recap: Madrid Triumphs

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Madrid brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Grinnell on Saturday. For Madrid, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Grinnell walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory got Madrid back to even at 3-3-2. As for Grinnell, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2-1.

Madrid wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Panorama on the 26th. As for Grinnell, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 loss against Ogden on the 26th.
