Basketball Game Preview: Shikellamy Braves vs. Lewisburg Green Dragons

Shikellamy and Lewisburg are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Shikellamy Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lewisburg Green Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Shikellamy came up short against Central Mountain and fell 58-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Braves came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Wildcats are ranked 354th).

Lewisburg has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional on Saturday. The contest marked the Green Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lewisburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Shikellamy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
