Clayton Valley Charter was the 21-17 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ugly Eagles took a hard 31-13 fall against the Lions on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Ugly Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Clayton Valley Charter lost, don't look at Jhadis Luckey. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards and one TD. Luckey is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 116 every time he's taken the field this season.

It was another big night for Jaxon Bell, who rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries for Liberty.

Clayton Valley Charter now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
