The George County Rebels will square off against the Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. George County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
George County's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Forest Hill with a sharp 15-0 win. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by nine runs or more this season.

Nobody will forget Bradyn Havard's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Forest Hill's batters): he turned in a perfect game. Havard also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because George County is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Cooper Ward was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cayler Havard, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
George County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Wayne County sidestepped Washington County for a 1-0 victory. The War EaglesLady War Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Talon Tate, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Washington County off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dallen Holifield, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
George County's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Wayne County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: George County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. It's a different story for Wayne County, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain George County's hitters?
