Softball Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nathan Hale on Friday, Locust Grove came back down to earth. The Pirates wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Locust Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Checotah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Locust Grove will welcome Rejoice Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Checotah, they will be playing at home against Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
