Recap: Campbell Hall Vikings vs. Pilibos Eagles
The Campbell Hall Vikings can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pilibos as Campbell Hall made off with a 67-43 win. The win was just what Campbell Hall needed coming off of a 76-53 defeat in their prior matchup.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sevana Keuroghlian, who scored 13 points. Suzy Topchyan was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Campbell Hall's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pilibos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Campbell Hall will look to defend their home court on Friday against Notre Dame Academy at 6:00 p.m. Notre Dame Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Campbell Hall in California (Notre Dame Academy is ranked 127th, while Campbell Hall is ranked 556th). As for Pilibos, they will face off against Shalhevet at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Shalhevet will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
