Softball Recap: Aurora Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aurora). They walked away with a 17-14 win over the Fillmore Central Panthers on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Vivi Fahrnbruch, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Londyn Teahon, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Aurora lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Aurora's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Fillmore Central, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
