Soccer Game Preview: Towers vs. Jasper County

The Towers Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Jasper County Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Towers fought the good fight in their overtime match against Lamar County on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Jasper County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Utopian Academy for the Arts on Friday. They blew past Utopian Academy for the Arts 7-0. The score was close at the half, but the Hurricanes pulled away in the second half with six goals.

Jasper County's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Towers, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
