Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand Junction Central). They put the hurt on the Niwot Cougars with a sharp 18-6 victory on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.
Caitlin Raisch made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
