Soccer Recap: Vaughn Takes a Loss

Vaughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the East Valley Falcons, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, the White Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 987th, while the Falcons are ranked 443rd).

Vaughn's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for East Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vaughn will challenge Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Valley, they will square off against Northridge Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
