Preview: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Independence Falcons
Ridgeview is 8-2 against the Falcons since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Independence Falcons at 6:30 p.m.
Ridgeview lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Bakersfield Christian 65-35. Ridgeview has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Independence at home against the Drillers on Wednesday as the squad secured a 56-26 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Independence.
Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Independence, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Ridgeview strolled past the Falcons when the teams last played back in January by a score of 52-38. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Independence's Kaylynn Bolden, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 23 rebounds.
