Soccer Game Preview: San Marino vs. South Pasadena

The San Marino Titans will head out to square off against the South Pasadena Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

San Marino is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Monrovia on Saturday. San Marino fell just short of Monrovia by a score of 1-0. The Titans have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Pasadena challenged Monrovia on Friday. South Pasadena fell just short of Monrovia by a score of 2-1.

South Pasadena now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for San Marino, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

San Marino took their win against South Pasadena when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will San Marino repeat their success, or does South Pasadena have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
