Recap: Parkway Northwest Hoyas vs. Roxborough Wolves
This season hasn't been kind to the Parkway Northwest Hoyas, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. The match between Parkway Northwest and Roxborough wasn't particularly close, with Parkway Northwest falling 37-18. Parkway Northwest lost against Roxborough in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 2-0 score last time.
Roxborough got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was JennyLee Perez out in front who scored 15 points along with five assists and four blocks. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for her. Jaylah Holmes was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Parkway Northwest bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Roxborough, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway Northwest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Audenried at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
