Baseball Game Preview: Shiloh Generals vs. Decatur Bulldogs

The Shiloh Generals will square off against the Decatur Bulldogs at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Shiloh is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Shiloh's offense. They lost 14-0 to Woodward Academy on Thursday.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Decatur was the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over Chamblee. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Decatur's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Shiloh, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Shiloh might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Decatur when the teams last played back in April of 2018. Can Shiloh avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
