Basketball Recap: Foshay Extends Winning Streak to Four

Foshay proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks 32-29. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Foshay to victory were Kelis Jones and Jasmine Jauregui. Jones posted 11 points, while Jauregui put up ten points.

Foshay is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.7 points per game. As for Math & Science College Preparatory, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Foshay will welcome Middle College at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Math & Science College Preparatory has already played their next match (against Horace Mann UCLA Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
