Softball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester lost against Bowdon on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils lost 15-2 to the Red Devils. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manchester saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Painter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bowdon, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manchester will square off against rival Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bowdon is set to challenge their familiar foe Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
