Softball Recap: Roland Comes Up Short

Roland fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Wister on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Roland now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Wister, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Roland is taking a road trip to challenge Stilwell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Wister does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
