Softball Recap: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers vs. Flint River Academy Wildcats
While Central Fellowship Christian Academy's victory against Flint River Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 8-7. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Ella Huddleston made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off 12 hits (and not a single walk). Huddleston was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season.
In other batting news, Central Fellowship Christian Academy let Abby Vesey and Anna Sweatt run wild.
