Basketball Game Preview: Workman Lobos vs. Pomona Red Devils

The Workman Lobos just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pomona Red Devils at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Workman has four straight wins, Pomona has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Workman strolled past SEED: LA with points to spare, taking the game 34-18.

Meanwhile, Pomona had to suffer through a 51-20 loss at the hands of Ganesha.

Workman is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.2 points per game. As for Pomona, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything came up roses for Workman against Pomona in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 70-11 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Workman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
