Frederick had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Moffat County Bulldogs a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Frederick's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Moffat County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Frederick will square off against Longmont at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Moffat County, they will welcome Middle Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
