Softball Recap: Westfield School Gets the Win

On Friday Westfield School's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since August 3, 2024.

Westfield School's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Emanuel County Institute, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coincidentally, Westfield School and Emanuel County Institute will both be playing Camden County the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will host them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
