Basketball Recap: Assumption Starts Season with Victory Against Riverdale

Assumption had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Riverdale Rams by a score of 61-48.

Having lost for the first time this season, Riverdale fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Assumption will challenge Davenport West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverdale, they have already played their next contest, a 69-50 win against Monmouth-Roseville on the 5th.
