Soccer Recap: Sacred Heart of Jesus Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart of Jesus lost against St. Paul back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul Swordsmen. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly two goals.

Sacred Heart of Jesus' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for St. Paul, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11-1.

Sacred Heart of Jesus will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Bishop Conaty-Loretto at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Conaty-Loretto will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sacred Heart of Jesus surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
