North Central won against Ben Davis on Wednesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Rochester Zebras with a sharp 16-6 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Sam Dutkanych looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, North Central got a massive performance out of Kole Krienhagen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Krienhagen has posted since back in April. Grant Trisler was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

North Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory (which was North Central's third in a row) raised their record to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Rochester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

North Central will venture away from home to face off against Twin Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Rochester, they are taking a road trip to take on Whitko at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Zebras' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
